Mahalo for supporting our farmers and a stronger future for Hawai‘i!

ʻUlu (Breadfruit) — one of the original canoe crops, firm and starchy, similar in taste and texture to a potato – but more nutritious, versatile, and sustainable! ʻUlu is one of the only starches on Earth that grows on trees and is a beloved, traditional Polynesian staple crop.

Our Hawaiʻi-grown ʻulu is washed, quartered, par-steamed, and frozen for your convenience! This minimal processing method ensures that you can obtain this superfood all year round without the hassle of trying to source and handle the raw seasonal fruit, which has a short shelf life of 3-5 days after harvest.

Our mature, skin-on, fully steamed ulu quarters allow you to quickly and easily whip up ulu breadfruit mash, vegetarian patties or burgers, croquettes and more! Get creative and start experimenting with our Mature ʻulu recipes today!

Note: The skin of the breadfruit is perfectly edible and contains most of the beneficial nutrients!
