This twist on a traditional spiced latte will transform the way you enjoy your morning cup of coffee!
½ cup coconut sugar (or brown sugar)
1 tsp powdered ginger
½ tsp powdered turmeric
¼ tsp cardamom, ground
⅛ tsp clove, ground
¾ tsp salt
1∕8 tsp black pepper, ground
½ tsp vanilla extract
2 cups water
1 cup (50z) HUC Recipe-ready Pala‘ai, diced
1 - 13.5 oz can of coconut milk, unsweetened
In a medium saucepan, bring all of the ingredients except milk to a boil, reduce to medium-low heat and simmer 5 minutes.
Add the coconut milk, simmer another 5 minutes until warmed through.
Pour into a blender, blend until smooth and strain. Serve hot or over ice.
