ʻUlu Ambassadors

In collaboration with the Chef Hui, we launched the ʻUlu Ambassador program to increase public awareness and appreciation of breadfruit as an amazingly versatile, climate-smart, culturally important, ʻāina-grown superfood, and to spotlight the innovative chefs leading its culinary renaissance.

We couldn't build Hawaiʻi's breadfruit industry without the support of passionate, dedicated chefs and educators who champion the use of ʻulu in both traditional and contemporary ways.

Watch two of our ʻulu ambassadors, Chefs Mark "Gooch" Noguchi and Kealoha Domingo, talk story about why they love ʻulu and share some their favorite ways to prepare it.
