Mahalo for supporting our farmers and a stronger future for Hawai‘i!

Introducing Kalo (Taro Root) — one of the original canoe crops and is central to the creation story of the Hawaiian people. Our kalo is pre-prepared: peeled, cut, steamed and frozen, saving time for busy kitchens and manufacturers who require ease without sacrificing quality.

Defrost by lightly steaming for 5-10 minutes to rehydrate, and enjoy in a stew, curry, stir-fry or straight up! Kalo can be pounded, mashed, and also enjoyed in a poke-style salad.

Elevate your plant-based poke with our new diced kalo or simply serve it as a rice substitute with virtually anything!
