Every bag of ʻUlu Animal Crackers begins with the work of our farmer members, who carefully tend and harvest the breadfruit trees that have fed island communities for generations. Once picked, the fresh ʻulu is delivered to our co-op processing hubs, where it’s cleaned, peeled, steamed, and transformed into a fine, gluten-free flour — a sustainable local alternative to imported wheat.

In partnership with Diamond Bakery, a beloved local institution since 1921, we’re proud to see Hawaiʻi’s canoe crops brought to life in a fun, snackable form. This collaboration not only supports local agriculture and food sovereignty, it also introduces keiki and families to the flavors of Hawaiʻi-grown staples.

Every bite of ʻUlu Animal Crackers supports our islands’ farmers, strengthens Hawaiʻi’s economy, and helps reduce our reliance on imported foods. Together, we’re proving that when we grow, process, and eat local, everyone benefits.

Mahalo to our partners at Diamond Bakery and to the hardworking ʻulu farmers who make this delicious connection possible.
