Create an easy, delicious meal made with taro, one of Hawai’i’s ancient staples. This crispy kalo hash with prime rib is a recipe your ‘ohana is sure to love.

Ingredients
3 cups fully cooked taro (cubed)
1 medium onion diced
Extra virgin olive oil
4 cups cooked prime rib, cubed (or any protein of choice)
1 tsp of salt
4-6 farm fresh eggs
Salt, pepper, seasonings
Directions
Sauté onions in oil until caramelized
Add taro and cook until desired crispness
Add prime rib and cook until desired crispiness
Remove food from heat and place into a bowl
In the same pan, fry eggs sunny side up in the remaining oil for 3 minutes and season with salt, pepper and spices. Add eggs on top of the taro, prime rib and onions hash.
