-
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter, softened
-
2 cups soup stock (chicken or veggie)
-
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Directions
Defrost pala'ai and 'ulu in fridge overnight
Peel pala'ai using a paring knife and steam chunks until soft, about 10 minutes
Chop 'ulu into rough chunks and cook in chicken or veggie stock until soft and drain off any left over liquid.
Put pala'ai and 'ulu into large mixing bowl and blend slowly with a stand or hand held mixer. Add softened butter one tablespoon at a time and continue blending until ingredients are fully incorporated and creamy. Be careful not to overmix! Add salt and pepper to taste.
Garnish with fresh green herbs and serve warm.
