Turn our compostable insulation to animal bedding
Here is a creative way one of our customers used their Kodiakooler insulation after receiving a package from us. Mahalo nui e Hannah for sharing your adorable guinea pig video!
“My frozen ‘ulu purchase arrived packed in a 100% compostable insulated liner, which kept my ʻulu frozen during shipping. To responsibly reuse the liner and keep it out of the landfill, I decided to use it for my guinea pig’s bedding:
The liner is animal-friendly, hypoallergenic, super spongy and soft. Normally, my guinea pig gets newspaper as his bedding, so when I substituted the liner instead I could tell he was still trying to figure out what was going on.
Once he got used to the change, I can tell you that I have never seen my guinea pig so happy to be in his cage! He looked as though he was genuinely enjoying his new bedding.” - Hannah S., Honolulu, Hawaiʻi
