This is my mom's classic beer bread recipe that I grew up eating - taken up a notch using locally sourced 'ulu flour and local brewed lager. It has a crunchy and crusty exterior and soft and tender inside with delicate onion notes and a cheesy finish that perfectly compliments the earthiness of the 'ulu and the maltiness from the beer. Served warm with butter, its a quick and easy side for any meal.
