Simple & easy baked breadfruit fries with flavorful Cajun spices and a of hint lime. Serve as side with your favorite burger or with a dip as a mid-day snack!

Ingredients

16 oz. mature ʻulu (peeled, cored, and steamed)

4 tbsp paprika

2 tbsp cumin
-
½ tsp pepper flakes
-
Lime zest
-
4 tbsp olive oil
-
Salt to taste

Pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat the oven to 400˚F
Cut ʻulu quarters into 1" wedges lengthwise. Then cut those wedges lengthwise into a fry shape.
Optional - For softer fries, steam the cut ʻulu for 3-4 minutes.
In large bowl, mix the paprika, cumin, pepper flakes, lime zest, salt, and pepper.
Add olive oil.
Coat ʻulu well in oil mixture and spread onto a baking pan (non-stick or lined with parchment paper).
Cook for 30 minutes at 400 degrees, turning occasionally to bake the fries evenly across all sides.
Serve with your favorite meal, sauce, or dip!
