The Ku'u Māmā ("My Dear Mommy") Box provides most all you need to make breadfruit flour crepes with ʻuala (Okinawan sweet potatoes), sun-ripened Hawaiʻi-grown mangoes, and poi coconut butter.
The box also comes with a free pass to a virtual ʻulu crepe cooking demo and Hawaiian language class with Aunty Kū Kahakalau of Kū-A-Kanaka on Thursday, May 6th from 5-6pm HST. The live demo will be recorded and shared with participants so you can make the crepes for your dear mommy on Mother's Day (Sunday, May 9th).
In addition to getting great recipes, ingredients, and a world class language class, this unique event will share knowledge, moʻolelo and manaʻo about ʻulu from a Native Hawaiian perspective – enriching body, mind and soul!
Mom-curated box contents arrive frozen and include:
- 16 oz. ’Ulu Flour
- 12 oz. ’Uala (sweet potato)
- 16 oz. Mango, provided in partnership with MangoMana
- 11 oz. Poi Coconut Butter, by Akaka Falls Farm

Our boxes can be shipped FedEx overnight across the pae ʻāina (Hawaiian island chain), Continental U.S., and Alaska in eco-friendly, compostable insulated boxes.
PLEASE NOTE: Supplies limited. The last day to order to receive your box in time for Mother's Day is Monday May 3rd by 12 p.m. HST. All boxes will be shipped the week before the cooking demo on Tuesday and Wednesday, May 4th-5th.
