Box purchase includes exclusive access to a Pūpū Cooking Demonstration on Friday June 25, 2021 from 5-6pm via zoom, where you will learn how to create an authentic pau hana pūpū platter for 4 featuring:
- Kalo Poke – By far one of Chef Kealoha’s most requested dishes. A combination of traditional Hawaiian style poke flavors with the wholesome flavor and texture of Hawai’i-grown taro. Vegan friendly but loved by all (contains nuts).
- Hawaiʻi Island sweet potato chips produced by Hawaiʻi’s original chip company, Atebara’s in Hilo.
- Hawai‘i ‘Ulu Cooperative’s ‘Ulu ‘Inamona Macnut Hummus.
- Kealohaʻs famous smoked marlin dip, made with Hawaiʻi fisherman-direct marlin.
- Chili pepper water for those finishing touches!
- KŌ-jito mocktail/cocktail – What’s an ALOHA Friday without a cold beverage to go along with the food?! Included in the pūpū box is a pint of cold-pressed Hawaiian sugar cane juice cocktail mix. Muddle fresh mint and spike it up with some Hawaiian agricole rum by KōHana, distilled from native Hawaiian sugarcane varieties (optional add-on; please visit their website for a list of where to purchase).
